'Baahubali's Sets to Be Inspired by Those Films?

It is an open secret that 'Magadheera's fort set has been an inspiration of the fort set of all time great classic hollywood movie, 'Benhar'. Rajamouli's taste of directing period drama was revealed through 'Magadheera'. And now, Rajamoiuli wishes to outsmart 'Magadheera' completely through his latest venture 'baahubali'. Obviously, the film will be having mind boggling sets for sure. Recently, Rajamouli has received a letter of appreciation from Ramoji Rao for erecting very interesting sets for the film.

If 'Magadheera's fort set was inspired by 'Benhar', which hollywood  movie is going to be an inspiration for 'baahubali'? As per gossipmongers, Rajamouli might be inspired by the movies such as 'Troy', '300' and 'Gladiator'. Brad Pitt starrer 'Troy' has a wonderful fort set. The protagonist is seen as a great warrior in this film. Incidentally, 'Gladiator's model of stadium set was recently seen in the trailers of Rajinikanth's 'Kochadaiiyaan'. But then, what is Rajamouli's choice? Will  he opt for above hollywood  movies or will go for Vithalacharya's old 'janapada movies' for sets? Praneetha Dominates Samanta

She has best, expressive and big eyes with a beautiful face. She is a performer indeed and ready to ooze glamour if given a chance or on the demand of character. Yes, the girl about whom we are speaking is Praneetha who bagged a big opportunity to romance Power Star in ‘Atharintiki Daaredi’ and the movie seems to be working in her favor. As per the critics and audience point of view, Praneetha has in fact stolen the show from samanta in first half of the movie.

Clearly, Sam was given a passive role in first half with most of the story driven around Praneetha and her romantic track with Bharath Reddy. Yes, it is only in second half samanta becomes active but with too much of liberty in Sasi’s characterization, audience could not find the past spark in her face. Whatever it may be, samanta remains the lucky mascot for all our heroes and here is one more hit into her credit.

Nani calls 'AD' as AP Rocket

Till now, young hero nani is termed by many as multi talented for excelling as an artist, assistant director and now he even turned producer by buying 50 per cent of stake in the new movie of ‘D for Dopidi.’

Pawan's Taste on Raj Kapoor's Songs

We know that Power Star pawan kalyan's fondness on old songs as some of the great hits such as 'Aaduvari maatalaku', 'Ee reyi teeyanidee' and 'Katamarayudaa' etc. have been remixed in his films. Incidentally, he seems to have good taste on the songs from bollywood legend Rajkapoor's movies. 

We hear the words 'Illoree' from a group of singers from the song 'Edola vundeevela naalo' from 'Thammudu' movie. In fact, this 'Illoree' tune has been inspired from Rajkapoor's 'Chori Chori' movie's song 'Panchi banoo udthi phiroon' and the song was shot on Nargis. In 'Atharintiki Daredi', pawan kalyan hums a song 'Hawa mein udtha jaaye mora lal dupatta malmal ka hogee'. This song belonged to the movie 'Barsaat', directed by Raj Kapoor. Raj Kapoor and Nargis were the lead cast in the film.

Can RV Repeat AD?

Junior NTR is one hero whose commercial stamina is not fully ripened by any director and producer till date in recent times. Post the era of ‘Simhadri and Aadi,’ we haven’t seen Tarak in full flow with mass pleasing elements. Luckily NTR fell into the hands of director Harish Shankar who has that clever knack of utilizing the Fan Mania by incorporating his heroes’ real characters into on screen characterizations. Harish succeeded with Pawan Kalyan in ‘Gabbar Singh’ and Nandamuri Fans are hopeful to see the same repeated for ‘ramayya vastavayya.’

If at all ‘Ramayya’ comes out with the positive mouth talk, there are high chances of NTR to repeat the same magic as what Pawan is showing off now with ‘Atharitniki Daaredi.’ Even it will be good to see, back to back industry hits throwing the industry out of doldrums.

Manchu Vishnu has the habit of plain speaking and pouring his heart out before media friends. When media questioned him on rivalry with Junior NTR, he answered with a smile. ‘Junior NTR and my self are good friends outside. But, on October 11 we are becoming competitors with release of our two films ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’ and ‘doosukeltha’ arriving in one day gap of time,’ Vishnu said.

While ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’ holds on to the enormous star power of Junior NTR and super hit director Harish Shankar, in contrast ‘doosukeltha’ is a comic caper with Manchu Vishnu, Lavanya Tripati in leads and directed by Veeru Potla. As we do know, Manchu and Nandamuri families share wonderful relations and the same will be continued even with this friendly fight for Dasara.

However, King nagarjuna seems to be eager to compete with Jr.NTR. Buzz is that nagarjuna's 'Bhai' is being planned for release on 11th October, just a day later to the release of 'Ramayya Vastavayya'. The audio of 'Bhai' will be launched on 5th October. Will 'AD' Become an Industry Hit?

Power Star pawan kalyan's 'Atharintiki Daredi' was released on 27th September and generated unanimous positive talk across all corners of  the world. Reports are already out that the movie collected a share of Rs.10.96 crores in AP, and a world wide share of Rs.16+ crores on the day one of its release. But then, can the movie stand as an industry hit breaking all the existing records of tollywood? Although the movie has not that much stuff to break all the records, yet again,pawan kalyan's mania is making miracles at the box office.

In Nizam alone, 'AD' is expected to collect Rs.11+ crores by the end of its first week. Industry hit 'Magadheera' collected a share of Rs.24+ crores in this area in its  full run. In East Godavari, 'AD' collected Rs.1.05 crores on the day one of its release. By the first weekend the movie is expected to cross the mark of Rs.1.80 crores. A trade expert estimated that the movie might collect somewhere around Rs.4.50 crores to Rs.5 crores in this region. 'Magadheera' earlier collected Rs.4.30 crores in this area. 

However, it is too early to predict the full run collections of the movie,just, based on the opening collections. Meanwhile, many people are expecting that the movie will surely join the list of top three movies of tollywood. But then, where does the movie stand? Will it be number one, or two or three? Sukumar to Step into New Shoes!

Director sukumar has proved his mettle as a director with his debut film 'Arya' itself. Later, he emerged as the top director through the movies such as 'Arya 2', '100% Love' etc. Currently, he is directing Prince Mahesh Babu's '1-Nenokkadine', the highly anticipated movie of tollywood.

Grapevine is that sukumar is planning to produce small budget movies. He has reportedly impressed with the performance of Sumanth Ashwin in the movies such as 'Tuneega Tuneega', 'Anthaku Mundu Aa Taruvatha'. By the time of release of 'RV', 'AD' will be completing its two weeks run and so there will be not much harm for 'ramayya vastavayya'  from 'AD'. When Will 'Yevadu' Release?

Mega Power Star ram charan's 'Yevadu' movie, which was supposed to be released on 31st of July, has been postponed indefinitely due to political chaos in the state. It is now gossiped that the makers are planning to release the movie on 25th of October. If not, it is expected to be released in the first week of November for sure. 'AD' Premier Show Record in the US!

Power Star pawan kalyan's latest offering 'Atharintiki Daredi' received Earth-shattering openings across the globe. The movie has generated great positive buzz in Overseas as well. In the US, the movie got record collections through its premier shows. As per the sources, the movie collected around $275K in the US from 60+ reported screens. Earlier, Baadshah collected $234K through its premiers while 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' collected $200K+ through the premier shows. 

'AD' features Samantha and Praneetha as the female leads. Devi Sri Prasad's tunes made the movie a musical super hit. Trivikram directed this mega movie on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra.

Burglar in Mahesh's House!

A strange incident which happened in Prince mahesh babu's home embarrassed many of his fans as well as tollywood film fraternity. As per the reports, an unidentified person wearing a monkey cap  entered Mahesh's house jumping compound wall. He broke the glass at the back side of the house and entered the bedroom of mahesh babu. Hearing the sounds, the servants of the house screamed and then the security got alerted and tried to catch him. However, the burglar escaped from the back door of the house. 

Mahesh has reportedly logged a complaint at the Jubilee Hills police station. The DCP of West Zone and and ACP of Banjara Hills are investing the case. They collected the fingerprints and dog squad was also brought for investigation. A case was registered.under IPC sections 457 and 511.

The union minister for tourism, Mr. chiranjeevi expressed his delight with the positive response of Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Atharintiki Daredi' movie at the box office. Shraddha Kapoor – Aditya Roy Kapur’s commitment issues

What Is Akshay Kumar's Biggest Worry?

Shah Rukh Khan To Sport Grey Hair In 'Happy New Year'?

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who will be teaming up with his friend Farah Khan for Happy New Year, recently revealed that his character would be sporting grey streaks in the film.

Khan, who had attended the 40th National Management Convention by All India Management Association (AIMA), was seen sporting grey streaks in his hair and when enquired, the King Khan revealed that it is a part of his look in Happy New Year.

Ranbir Kapoor Would Like To Act In 'Karz' Remake

Ranbir Kapoor, who is said to be quite devoted to his father Rishi Kapoor, will be seen sharing screen space with his father for the very first time in Besharam.

Recently, at an event, when talking about his father's films and the possibility of acting in a remake, the Rockstar said that he would never act in any film, which is the remake of his father's films as he considers Rishi Kapoor to be the best actor of Hindi cinema. However, he added that if given a choice, he would like to act in the remake of Karz, which dealt with the themes of reincarnation and retribution.

In Besharam, which releases on October 2, Ranbir will play the role of a cheeky thief whereas Rishi will play a Haryanvi cop. The film also stars Pallavi Sharda, Neetu Singh and Jaaved Jaaferi.

Truth of 'affairs' will be out only when I get married: Ranbir Kapoor

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor today said people will learn the truth about his reported affairs only when he gets married 

"When I will get married, the truth behind these reports will come out on its own. It is the media which is publishing all these news," Ranbir said, talking to reporters here. 
The actor, who is currently dating Katrina Kaif after his break up with Deepika Padukone, added that at present he is focused on his films. 
Answering a question, the 30-year-old actor said he believes in healthy competition, and added that he will have competition with actors ranging from Amitabh Bachchan to Varun Dhanwan, Siddharth Malhotra and Arjun Kapoor, who were all doing a good job. 

Ranbir said he considered his father Rishi Kapoor the best actor of the Hindi cinema, and therefore, he doesn't want to act in the remakes of his father's films. But if he was to choose, he would like to act in films like 'Karz' (1980) and 'Jamane ko Dikhana Hai' (1981), he said. 

Ranbir, who began his career with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Sawaariya' (2007), will soon be seen in Abhinav Kashyap's 'Besharam', which will release on October 2.

Ranbir Kapoor beats SRK's record

Ranbir Kapoor had unabashedly announced his plans to become the "number one" in Bollywood during a recent interview with this paper and he seems intent on the feat as he has now broken a record held previously by Shah Rukh Khan. 

SRK had gone out of his way to ensure that his last release, 'Chennai Express', had the biggest release ever for a Hindi film with 3500 screens in India and 700 plus screens abroad. His efforts also led to allegations of foul play from Ekta Kapoor's camp after their production 'Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara' got a limited release on day one because of the SRK starrer's blitzkrieg.

But now Ranbir has beaten the actor in the numbers game with 'Besharam', distributed by Reliance Entertainment, which will be released in atleast 3600 screens in India, making it the biggest release in Hindi film history till date.




When contacted, Utpal Acharya, Distribution Head of Reliance Entertainment, confirmed the news. "Yes, 'Besharam' will be the largest release till date, both in India and abroad. I am looking at 3600 plus screens. I had planned for 4000 screens but Pawan Kalyan's Telugu film 'Attarintiki Daredi' which releases today has a got a phenomenal response in advance booking. That takes away some screens which I had planned in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala," he said.

And justifying his decision, Acharya told TOI, "I am very confident of 'Besharam', it is a full family commercial entertainer and more the screens, more the revenue." The race to rope in the most number of screens has become a favourite tactic of the industry as the larger the number of theatres showing a film, the bigger the first day collection.

While some trade insiders say that a larger release does not necessarily translate into higher revenue in totality, a leading distributor (on request of anonymity) told us, "You need to have a film like 'Chennai Express' or 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', which sustains fabulously, to get the numbers. Else it just amounts to higher collections on only day one and this is simply because the film is more in your face. If 'Besharam' is accepted well, yes, then it would definitely make sense to release in so many screens. And yes, even 100-150 more screens can make a difference."

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said, "A wide release can go well with a big film like 'Besharam'. Post 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', Ranbir has become a big craze. Plus, you have the Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap holding the reins."Acharya offers another justification of the numbers game saying, "When the film releases at a large number of theatres, the audience can pick and choose where they want to see it, an expensive one or a cheaper option. So, more the screens, lesser the piracy."

Vishnu is really zooming

There seems no stopping to this Manchu hero. Vishnu who has hit headlines with an astonishing daredevil stunt he did for his upcoming film Doosukeltha in the recent times seems to be in the same mode of zooming. The actor has expressed willingness to remake his father bo blockbuster and 1991 superhit Assembly Rowdy and has started his efforts in the way to materialize it.

According to sources close to Vishnu he had approached director Puri Jagannadh to helm at the remake and we heard that Puri gave his nod to Vishnu (it maybe recalled that in the Satya 2 audio launch Vishnu reveled that in spite of his keenness to act under RGV or Puri they always said no to him and that must have prompted probably Puri to give him a go this time).

This has been confirmed by Vishnu himself who said about the latest development that: To work with Puri Jagannadh was very much in cards since very long time and Assembly Rowdy remake will be our collaboration.

Puri who is one of a kind multitasker is known to take up many projects at one time might soon join aboard the Assembly Rowdy project. If things go per plan the 24 Frames Factory will produce the film and we will also see Collecting King doing a cameo in the remake. Wait for more details on the movie.

The actress stated, “It is a customary in Telugu industry for a heroine to stand up when a director or a co-star comes. Why should I give such a false respect?”

Apart from this the actress has also stated that ‘the culture in Telugu industry is completely alien for her’. Ileana further added that ‘her job during the initial days was very mechanical and in fact she was not very keen to act in Tollywood and also people in the industry hated her but it seems they acted with her because she was a star.’

This we think is very immature of Ileana and the actress has no regard whatsoever for the industry that made her what she today flaunts around.

Seemandhra-Telangana ways leads to 'AD'

According to the latest protests affect is not felt by the film and many feel Seemandhra and Telangana leads are leading to Attarintiki Daaredi. This power star Pawan Kalyan starrer featuring Samantha and Praneetha is getting positive reviews from all sections of the people.

AD: Is Pawan distancing self from mega family?

With the relase of AD, Trivikram and Pawan Kalyan have delivered an entertainer that is purely based on human relations. You can imagine this movie’s entertainment on the lines of a Nuvvu Naku Nacchav, for which Trivikram wrote dialogues almost a decade ago. 

And this time as director, Trivikram  has given his sensitive touch to explore the subject of human relations and attachment between close relatives, with the help of a powerful mass hero like Pawan Kalyan. Trivikram should have believed that someone like Pawan can take this subject to a deeper level touching all sections of the society, classes to the masses.  

We hear our elders expressing concern about “antarinchi pothunna sambandha bandhavyalu” even between people are related by blood, with our Telugu tradition as the backdrop. It is quite visible in a story where the hero strives to reunite a disturbed family. It is not a new subject altogether but for Pawan, it indeed is.

To depart from his super mass image itself is an adventure by Pawan, but this comes at the right time. This is also seen as an effort by Pawan to expand his fan base beyond men and youth to family audiences. One would also feel how apt is the title to our nativity and to the storyline it showed, and dispelled the fears all Pawan’s fans have had, in the title to go with Pawan’s image.

Attarintiki Daredi piracy and leakage seems to have created terror among movie makers. Tollywood's star producer Dil Raju seems on high alert about his upcoming movies and has been working with his technicians to keep a system in place so as to curb the leak and piracy menace for his unreleased movies.

It is learnt that there is high level threat to the movies which were on hold for some time now due to ongoing agitation in Seemandhra including Dil Raju's movies Yevadu and Ramayya Vastavayya; more so the one that was put on hold for couple of months now Yevadu. With the Yevadu prints lying in the lab and uncertainty about its release soon now, Raju sir seems to be under nerve raking tension.

Who can believe his believe after seeing what has happened to AD? In any case Dil Raju will have something worked to see his movies are safer than ever before from the eyes of piracy rascals!

Our close sources report that distributors and exhibitors of ‘Atharintiki Daaredi’ who are to clear their dues with producer before the release are quoting the reasons of accidental release and online leakage to get through the huge sums demanded by BVSN Prasad.

We hear that, producer got ready for a release with almost 9 Crores deficit in domestic market and the deficit figure is pretty bad even for overseas. If at all, the movie has to run into profits…only pawan kalyan can do it with his magical presence. Hope ‘AD’ will become a huge hit.

Cherry Respected His Fans Wish?

Ever since the disaster result of Mega Power Star ram charan's bollywood debut movie 'Zanjeer', some of other  heroes' fans and a few analysts advised him never to try for another bollywood project. They might be having an opinion that South heroes' have no room for bollywood to prove their mettle there. Maybe because of the poor success ratio of the South heroes in bollywood, they had come to such kind of conclusions.

In contrast, mega fans have not given up the hope of ram charan doing wonders in bollywood. According to them, utter flop movie 'Zanjeer's collections are no less than the utter flop collections of the movies of other big heroes of bollywood. Besides, if ram charan is used in a right way, he will be emerged as one among a few heroes of India, who have market in both the North and the South. To sum up, ram charan seems to have respected the words of his fans, as he reportedly signed for a very interesting and crazy bollywood project to be directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar.
